Best Workplaces in Latin America published!
Great Place to Work® Institute announces today the 100 Best Workplaces in Latin America. JW Marriott Hotel from Lima, Perú is the winner of the list followed by Brazilian Chemtech and DHL Bolivia.
More than 1,300 companies representing more than 2 million employees have taken part in the study across Latin America. The 100 Best are recognized and profiled in the new Latin American Great Place to Work® Magazine that can be downloaded on any of our Latin American websites.

Best Workplaces in Europe announced!
Baden, Austria
In a prestigious Award Ceremony in Baden, Austria the Best Workplaces in Europe 2009 were announced. For the second consecutive year, Microsoft won the Best Large Workplaces category with all 16 national branches included in the study. The Greek designer and manufacturer of swimming pools, Piscines Ideales, won the Best Small and Medium-Sized Workplaces category.
A record number of 1,350 companies across Europe took place in the list-process that surveyed almost 300,000 people. Besides being great workplaces, the study shows that these companies grow faster, improve productivity, have less absenteeism and employee turnover, and are more innovative than regular companies.

Special Award: “This is not just a job” to Coca Cola HBC (Greece and Italy)
Special Award: “We have fun” to SimCorp (Germany)

Great Place to Work(r) Institute takes part in largest HR conference in Eastern Europe

The newly opened Great Place to Work(r) Institute is having a prominent role at the largest HR conference in Eastern Europe. The conference is taking place in Warsaw on November 24-27, where the Institute will deliver a workshop and a presentation. Other speakers include Geert Hofstede and Kar-Erik Sveiby.

Great Place to Work® Institute opens new office in Poland
The Great Place to Work® Institute proudly presents our new office in Poland. The Polish office will offer the full scope of GPTW products and services including the list-process, where companies can sign up from now on.
The Best Workplaces in Poland will be announced in April 2009 and the Polish companies will also be candidates for the European list to be annnounced in May 2009.
