The 2008 list of the 30 Best Companies to Work For in Portugal was elaborated by the Great Place To Work^® Institute Portugal and published by Public newspaper and Executive Digest magazine. Microsoft came in at number one and received from the award from Jose Vieira da Silva, Minister of the Work and Social Solidarity, and of Sandrine Lage, CEO of the Great Place To Work Work^®. Cushman & Wakefield came in as second on the list and Dynargie came in third.

This year we also delivered other special awards such as the Best Company for Young People to Work For to Everis Portugal; Best Company for Executives to Work For to Accenture; Best Company for Women to Cushman & Wakefield; and Best Call Center to Work For to Companhia de Seguros Allianz.

As last year, Publico newspaper announced Best Workplaces in Portugal 2008. Due to a recent partnership, Executive Digest published a special edition of Best Workplaces in Portugal 2008, focused in sectors and special prizes.
